Italian giants AC Milan are targeting a move for Lyon and Netherlands forward Memphis Depay during the summer transfer window.
Italian media outlet Tuttosport are claiming the Milan club will look to a make a €30m bid for Memphis Depay during the summer transfer window.
Milan are looking to strengthen their attacking options down the wing and have shortlisted Depay as their number one target.
The price-tag for the flying dutchman will be in the region of €30m meaning Milan would have to sell one of their summer flops to finance the deal to bring the Holland striker over to Serie A.
Depay, who joined Manchester United in 2015 for £25m from PSV Eindhoven. He failed to impress during his time at Old Trafford. Many pundits and sections of the media criticised the player for his off the pitch party lifestyle for slowing down his career.
After two unsuccessful years with Man Utd, Depay joined up with Ligue 1 giants Lyon for a fee believed to be in the region of £22m, allowing United to almost recoup most of their outlay on the player two-years earlier.
Since his move to Lyon, Depay has come back into form and started showing signs of the form which attracted Man Utd to him back in 2015.
So far he has made a total of 42 appearances for Lyon, scoring 14 goals. At only 24-years of age the player still represents good value for money should he carry on showing the form he has for Lyon.
The Dutch international has also won 34 caps for his country, scoring 8 goals.
