Arsenal are hot favourites to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey and are prepared to pay £30m to secure his services next month.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that the Gunners have watched the Jamaican born winger Leon Bailey twice this season and are now preparing a monster £30m offer for the winger in January.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also monitoring the 20-year-old winger, but Arsenal look clear favourites to land the player.
Bailey has taken the Bundesliga by storm this season, scoring 8 goals in 16 games so far this term.
With contract rebels Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez expected to leave before the end of the season, Arsenal see Bailey as an ideal replacement for either of those players.
The winger started his career off at Belgian club Genk, where he made a total of 56 appearances and scoring 8 goals between 2015-17 season.
He joined Bayer Leverkusen during last seasons winter transfer window for €20m and has now firmly established himself as one of Bundesliga finest attacking players.
Chelsea had a bid £22m bid from Bayer turned down last summer and they are expected to return for the player. Whether they will meet Arsenals £30m offer is yet to be seen.
The Gunners, just off the back of a 3-3 draw at the Emirates versus Liverpool, travel to Crystal Palace on Thursday. A game which could be the final for Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez if they get their wishes of a move away.
Arsenal will be hoping for all three points in their pursuit for a top four spot this season.
