Roma released pictures of Justin Kluivert in Rome with the player holding up a team scarf. The transfer is not yet finalised but he is set to put pen-to-paper on the deal once he completes his medical tomorrow.

The player recently fell out with his club Ajax after attacking them for not informing him that a bid from Premier League side Tottenham was turned down without the player and his representatives being informed.

It now seems that the 19-year-old will become Roma’s sixth signing of the summer after recently snapping up Croation teenager Ante Coric from Dinamo Zagreb. It seems the Serie A side are targetting some of Europe’s most talented youngsters this summer.

Kluivert who has one-year left on his current deal is expected to sign for a fee believed to be in the region of €20m.

The teenage sensation scored 10 goals in 30 games for Roma last season and won his first international cap for Holland back in March this year.

He follows in the footsteps of his father Patrick Kluivert who played for AC Milan in the 1997-1998 season. He dreams of following his dad’s footsteps further by playing for Barcelona in the near future.

Courted for a long-time by Premier League side Manchester United, the Dutch winger has opted to make the move to Italy where he can establish himself in the Roma first-team and win further caps for Holland.
