Real Madrid have today announced the signing of Brazilian wonder kid Vinicius Junior from Flamengo.
The young forward has been signed for a reported £38m, and will join up with the Real Madrid squad in July 2018, once the player turns 18. For now he will remain with Flamengo.
A statement released by Real says the club will own the rights to the Brazilian from July 2018, when the player turns 18.
He will remain at Flamengo until July 2019 unless both sides agree otherwise.
Junior made his Flamengo debut this month after impressing for Brazil U17s at the South American U17 Championship in Chile.
He finished the competition as top scorer with seven goals and was named Player of the Tournament.
He will become the second most expensive signing from Brazil after Neymar who was signed by Barcelona in 2013 for £49m.
